K.T. Lawrence favors the fantastical and the frightening in her fiction. Born on an island in Florida, she lived near beaches and swamps before settling in the piedmont of north Georgia. K.T. majored in biology and minored in English at the University of Florida, and she currently manages a neuroscience lab at an R1 university. Natural, scientific, and queer (both gay and bizarre) themes often find their way into her books.
